ABOUT WILD IN THE WOLDS
Wild in the Wolds is both a home story and a creative studio.
Founded by interior stylist and brand storyteller Jade Jordan-James, it began as a way of documenting the restoration of Trinity Lodge, the Georgian home she shares with her husband Rob and their three Siamese cats.
What started as a renovation diary has grown into a space that celebrates thoughtful interiors, slow decorating and the intrinsic details that make a house feel deeply personal.
Through styling projects, creative collaborations and curated collections, Wild in the Wolds explores the relationship between home, story and atmosphere, from the colours on the walls to the objects we live with every day.
Jade’s approach blends heritage inspiration with modern living, creating spaces that feel layered, lived-in and quietly distinctive.
Today, Wild in the Wolds sits at the intersection of interiors, styling, storytelling and lifestyle, a place to gather inspiration and celebrate the art of making a home.
Meet Jade
Jade Jordan-James is an interior stylist, creative consultant and storyteller.
Her work sits at the intersection of interiors, brand storytelling and considered living, helping shape spaces and narratives that feel authentic and layered.
With a background spanning brand strategy, typography and visual storytelling, Jade has spent over two decades working within the creative industries. Today she collaborates with design-led brands, publications and creative partners on styling, content direction and brand storytelling.
Her work is guided by the belief that the most compelling spaces evolve slowly, shaped by place, memory and the details collected over time.
At the heart of her work is Trinity Lodge, the Georgian home in the Lincolnshire Wolds that she and her husband Rob are restoring room by room. The house acts as both creative studio and ongoing story, a place where ideas are explored, documented and shared.
Making a home
Making a home has always been at the heart of Jade’s work.
After transforming a south coast townhouse, she and Rob moved to the Lincolnshire Wolds to restore Trinity Lodge.
The project is a slow and thoughtful renovation, balancing the preservation of original architectural character with the needs of modern living.
Each room evolves gradually, shaped by colour, craftsmanship and carefully chosen pieces that reflect the story of the house.
Incorporating flowers
Flowers remain an important part of Jade’s styling, adding softness, movement and a connection to nature within a space. Her arrangements favour a relaxed, natural approach, often inspired by the surrounding landscape of the Wolds.
